Privacy policy
Last updated: February 10, 2026
Free ADHD Test ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website www.freeadhdtest.org. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our site or use our self-assessment tool.
Information we collect
Assessment data
When you take our ADHD self-assessment, your answers and results are processed entirely in your browser. We do not store your quiz answers or results on our servers. Your assessment data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it.
Email subscription (optional)
If you choose to provide your name and email address after completing the assessment, we send this information to our email service provider (ConvertKit) to deliver your results summary and occasional educational content about ADHD. You may also provide your age range and gender to help us personalize content. Providing this information is entirely optional and is not required to view your results.
Analytics data
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site. This collects anonymous, aggregated information such as:
- Pages visited and time spent on the site
- Referring website or search engine
- Browser type and device category
- General geographic region (country or city level)
Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors. This data is anonymized and cannot be used to personally identify you. See the "Cookies" section below for more details.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver your assessment results in your browser
- Send your results summary by email, if you opt in
- Send occasional educational content about ADHD, if you subscribe
- Understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it
- Monitor site performance and fix technical issues
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies
Our site uses the following types of cookies:
Essential cookies
These are necessary for the site to function and include cookies that remember your cookie consent preferences.
Analytics cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) to measure how you interact with our site. These cookies collect information anonymously and report site trends without identifying individual visitors. You can opt out of analytics cookies through the cookie consent banner shown when you first visit the site.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. Note that disabling cookies may affect how parts of the site function.
Data retention
- Assessment data: Not retained. Processed in your browser only.
- Email subscription data: Retained until you unsubscribe. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Analytics data: Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google Analytics (analytics) — Google Privacy Policy
- ConvertKit (email delivery) — ConvertKit Privacy Policy
- Vercel (hosting) — Vercel Privacy Policy
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Opt out of analytics cookies using the cookie consent banner or your browser settings
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email we send
- Request deletion of any personal data we hold (email subscription data) by contacting us
- Access your data by requesting a copy of the information we have about you
Children's privacy
Our site is intended for teens (13+) and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 18, we do not collect your email address through the assessment — minors are shown their results directly without an email capture step.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Since we do not store assessment data on our servers, the primary risk vector — sensitive health information storage — does not apply.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
